Hydrogen is beginning to play a greater role in the transition to clean, safe and sustainable safety systems. The conference provides an open platform for presentation and discussion of new findings, information and data on a wide range of hydrogen safety topics.
The conference organisational teams seek papers in a wide range of hydrogen safety topics like (but not limited to) safety of large production and supply chain infrastructure, hydrogen and hydrogen carrier behaviours, physical effects, consequence and risk analysis, incidents, accidents and near misses, hydrogen effects on materials and components, safety of energy storage, power to gas/gas to power related safety issues, safety solutions for the implementation of hydrogen technologies, risk management, best practices, regulations, codes and standards as well as communication strategies.
All contributions to ICHS 2019 will be evaluated exclusively in the light of their scientific content and relevance to hydrogen safety.
Who should attend?
Private sector, government and academic institutions with involvement in the renewable energy sector; hydrogen technologies and organisations aligned with supply chain infrastructure, training and services.
In addition to the conference and technical sessions, registration includes entry to the:
- Opening ceremony
- Welcome reception
- Gala dinner
- Coffee breaks.
Additional people may attend the gala dinner by purchasing an extra gala dinner ticket.
The South Australian Government will be developing a business program to showcase South Australia’s hydrogen industry capabilities to the visiting high-level international delegation.
What’s not included?
Accommodation, travel expenses and travel visas are not included in the registration fee and are the responsibility of the delegate.
